CEO & Legal Counsel
Kennedy Shannon
Kennedy Shannon, Esq., is the CEO and Corporate Counsel of Serenity House Residential Care Services LLC, a Michigan-based provider of adult foster care and specialized residential services. She oversees regulatory compliance, facility operations, and strategic development across multiple licensed care homes in Detroit, Battle Creek, Warren, and White Lake, ensuring high-quality care for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs.

Director of Admissions and Assessment
Brandon Gadberry
Brandon Gadberry, MSW, is the Director of Admissions and Assessments at Serenity House Residential Care Services LLC, where he brings over 20 years of social work experience to his role. He is responsible for conducting comprehensive intake assessments and coordinating with key stakeholders—including Community Mental Health organizations, court-appointed guardians, and resident families—to evaluate individual needs and ensure appropriate placement. His expertise in behavioral health and person-centered care enables him to facilitate smooth transitions into residential settings and support high-quality, individualized care planning.

Area Supervisor
Kristina Wiggins Shannon
Kristina Wiggins Shannon is the Area Supervisor for Serenity House Residential Care Services LLC, overseeing female homes in the Warren, Michigan territory. She has extensive experience working with children and adults with autism and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Kristina manages and supports home managers and direct care workers, ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance across her territory with a strong focus on compassionate, person-centered service.

Area Supervisor
Cortaz Harvey
Cortaz Harvey is the Area Supervisor for Serenity House Residential Care Services LLC, overseeing male homes in the Detroit and Warren areas. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and brings strong leadership and organizational skills to his role. Cortaz is responsible for managing home managers and direct care staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, staff development, and high-quality care for residents across his assigned homes.

Haily Gadberry
Haley Gadberry is the Area Supervisor for Serenity House Residential Care Services LLC, overseeing homes in the White Lake and Flint areas. In her role, she manages and supports home managers and direct care staff, ensuring that residents receive high-quality, person-centered care. Haley's leadership contributes to maintaining a supportive and compliant environment across her assigned homes.

Toney Baker
Toney Baker serves as the Director of Community Engagement at Serenity House Residential Care Services LLC. In this role, he leads initiatives to strengthen relationships with families, guardians, and community partners, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive, person-centered support. Toney's work focuses on fostering inclusive partnerships and promoting awareness of Serenity House’s mission, enhancing the organization's impact within the communities it serves.

Diana Wiggins
Diana Wiggins serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for Serenity House Residential Care Services LLC. As a dedicated volunteer herself, Diana organizes and leads a team of volunteers who support residents through meaningful engagement and community involvement. She plays a key role in planning outings, coordinating special events, and arranging on-site services such as beautician and barber visits. Her commitment and compassion make her an integral part of the organization, enriching the lives of residents through her selfless service.

Human Resources Specialist
Nichole Allen
Nichole Allen is the Human Resources Specialist and Training Coordinator at Serenity House Residential Care Services LLC. She manages recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations while also scheduling and tracking required state trainings to ensure compliance with Michigan’s licensing requirements for direct care workers and licensed facilities. Nichole plays a key role in maintaining accurate training records and supporting a well-prepared, compliant workforce across all Serenity House locations.

Director of Facilities & Safety
Alexander Tyler Jr.
Alexander Tyler serves as the Director of Facilities & Safety for Serenity House Residential Care Services, where he oversees all aspects of home maintenance, environmental health, fire safety, and emergency preparedness across the organization’s residential care locations. Formally trained as an EMT and Firefighter, Mr. Tyler brings firsthand knowledge of safety requirements and emergency response protocols, ensuring that all facilities operate at the highest standards of protection and readiness. His expertise plays a critical role in maintaining safe, efficient, and well-managed environments that support exceptional resident care and regulatory excellence.

Visiting Primary Care Physician
Dr. Anthony Spearman
Dr. Anthony Spearman serves as the Visiting Primary Care Physician for Serenity House Residential Care Services, providing on-site and coordinated medical oversight for residents across the organization’s adult foster care homes. A lifelong Detroit native, Dr. Spearman completed his Internal Medicine training at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center (now Beaumont Dearborn) in 2015 and specializes in preventative health care and the management of chronic conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, depression, and other complex medical needs commonly seen in residential care settings. He takes pride in building strong, long-lasting physician–patient relationships by spending meaningful time with residents and ensuring individualized, comprehensive care. In addition to traditional clinical practice, Dr. Spearman has extensive experience providing care in nursing homes and through home visits, making him well-suited to support the unique needs of AFC residents. He currently serves as the lead physician of Horizon Care Medical Group and brings a patient-centered, collaborative approach to Serenity House’s multidisciplinary care model.
